Our 'YouDecide' voting app being tested

Young people at Creative Hub tested our YouDecide voting app this week at KWMC and Would Like To Meet event. Great feedback and interesting to hear young people's views on their communities and what differences they would like to see...

Eagle House Pop-Up Furniture Factory

A pop-up furniture factory will open its doors this autumn, offering training and employment for Knowle West residents. The Furniture Factory will be hiring two local residents as paid trainees, as well as offering volunteering opportunities. There will also be a series of workshops where people can learn about digital manufacturing techniques and make something that they can take away. Equipment will include a CNC milling machine and a laser cutter. We hope that the pop-up factory will lead to routes into sustainable employment for local people. There will be lots of opportunities to get involved in this exciting and practical programme. For more details contact justin.ricks@kwmc.org.uk or hazel.grian@kwmc.org.uk on 0117 903 0444
